What a beautiful, peaceful campsite. Linda was extremely helpful, giving directions to get to site, and providing her local knowledge of places to go. Amenities are spotless, fresh eggs provided too. A lively find.

We loved this site. Great shower and toilet facilities with plenty of room. Nicely laid out site with small number of motorhome/ caravan pitches and a couple of other fields for camping. Peaceful with nice views over the hills. Site owner Linda was wonderful really friendly and helpful and even gave us a lift to the steam railway. Highly recommended and we plan on going back!

Excellent communication before we arrived with useful notes about how to get there. A very warm welcome from Linda when we arrived, fantastic new shower/toilet block with great washing up area inside too. The owners are clearly working hard to create a lovely place with handmade wooden details too. Beautiful surroundings.

Lovely freindly welcome informed us of local walks and places to eat. The new shower block is looking really good .very spacious and cleaned regularly. Free use of fridge and freezer and kettle if needed .fantastic wildlife. The campsite is a credit to the lovely owners .will be back .

It was great to have parking next to the pitch. There was plenty of room, a short walk to the showers and kitchen, all on flat ground. A quiet area, I particularly appreciated the birdsong and it was also nice to hear the lowing of the cows. A wonderful countryside soundtrack.
Linda was very welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have wished for a better campsite.

Loved the new amenities block with simple but really great touches such as a kettle to be able to easily boil water. Views are beautiful and the hostess, Linda, was very friendly and helpful. They even allowed campfires by providing drums to burn the wood in. Overall an excellent experience.

The owner, Linda was very welcoming and had a lot of knowledge of the local areas, places to eat etc. It was quiet, facilities were clean and had everything we needed for one night stay. Directions were easy to follow. Beautiful scenery. Level pitch.

Understandably they are building a new shower block but it did mean the games room was nonexistent. It wasn't mentioned at the point of booking which was disappointing when we arrived. Linda was very apologetic.

Can’t fault our stay. Host superb and attentive. Great base with everything we needed. Loved the location and walks
