Lovely lady called Summer who runs it.
Working family farm, with sheep roaming, lovely and peaceful.
Toilets/Showers are plenty big enough.

Grass needed cutting, made it a bit boggy to pitch awning.

This site was beautiful, brand new toilet/shower block was stunning, though I would have some concerns with it if my little one was old enough to use the facilities. Firstly the water in the showers was hot, not too hot for an adult but probably too hot for a child, secondly the sinks (which are absolutely stunning) are all very high, and whilst there was a plastic stool in there that could of been used it was also still quite high to use and if it was to slip the sink is made of marble, just think there’s potential for unnecessary accidents. The farm is really pretty with several fishing ponds and little lambs in the next field. We ordered a takeaway to site and they had no issues finding us. Not much within walking distance though, the site was large enough in itself to walk our dog around but if we wanted to go on longer walks we would probably have to drive out somewhere as it appears to be all working fields surrounding the site. The pitches are large and well spaced out. There is a playground that looks like it will be fun in summer (bit muddy in March) All in all I would return here but just make sure to take a travel bath for my child. New show block, spacing of every pitch, hard standing drive way and parking, friendly staff, logs on site, distance to the bus stop

Very minor! Washing up sinks very low for your back, could do with a wooden tray/mat to stand on after a shower to get dressed or even a folding chair off the wall

This was a great site, it was quiet and peaceful. There is a good park for the kids, also fishing is available which the kids loved.
The owners are friendly and relaxed.
The facilities were good and they look like they are building more.

The only thing would be the showers in the ladies were very hot. My husband said the gents were fine though. They were too hot to put the kids in though. I think it’s a new shower block so maybe some teething issues.

Very nice new resource block. Short walk to a bus stop that can take you to either Lancaster or Knott End - on - Sea.

Large pitches, friendly staff. Fires allowed. Good size play park.

Play park was grass and very waterlogged. Showers need modernising and better heating.

The pod was great. It was clean, tidy, fresh bedding and had the essentials such as fridge and kettle. The site has some other accomodation to stay in so we would like to try a waggon next time.

There was some building work going on, which I am excited to see when it's finished but we would have preferred a pod further away from the building work rather than right next to it.

Great accommodation, clean facilities and location really convenient for Blackpool and some lovely rural walks and villages.

Nice gravel standing with plenty room ,nice level pitch . Quite site with no noise apart from traffic from other guests . Toilets and showers very clean and tidy but showing a bit of age .

Poor outside lighting ,but it was late October with early dark nights ,kitchen area was very basic and exposed. In fairness to the owners they are building new facilities which appear to be well on as far as completion is concerned,l would say they will ready for the 2024 season .

Beautiful site, pods overlooking the water and mostly very peaceful.
Clean toilet and shower facilities.
Play area for young children, although this was quite overgrown and waterlogged due to recent weather.
Pods were spacious and well equipped with fridge, kettle and heater. Also a firepit and picnic bench per pod.
Lots to see near by - Garstang is a pretty village only a 2.5 mile walk and Blackpool is a 25 minute drive.

Some construction noise early Monday morning (as they are building a new toilet block) which would have been nice to have notice of as it's a quiet site.
