Lovely quiet campsite with beautiful views and sky full of stars at night. Clean facilities and friendly bar on site. Nice restaurant within walking distance. Would recommend a visit. Thank you to Nicky and Julian

Everything! The views were absolutely stunning and the site was so peaceful and quiet. Except for the sound of the wonderful red kites circling the site daily and the gorgeous donkeys a few fields away.

The on site bar was brilliant and the hosts and the locals made us and our dog very welcome.

The facilities were great, toilets and showers cleaned daily and were immaculate.

The site has a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere- a true escape from hustle and bustle. Remote feel but a short drive away from nearby towns and villages. Rheidol steam train, Gigrin Farm red kite feeding and boat trips from New Quay all within a short drive away. Don't be put off by the charge for electricity, it costs very little and any you haven't used is reimbursed at the end of your stay.

We will definitely be returning, it is our new favourite place! We were very sad to leave this morning and it felt like we were saying bye to old friends which says it all. We would1000% recommend this site if you want a relaxed break with the bonus of a bar and great company.

Coming home

Arriving at the campsite it was easy to check in. Had other members joining us and was told it was okay to be next to each other. Owners was polite and helpful. Toilets and showers was cleaned everyday. Bar area was clean and friendly to go and have a drink. Nice view and 30 mins drive away from aberystwyth.

Hot water wasn't hot all the time and had to wait to get hot water if people had showers in the morning.

What a warm welcome we got from Nicky and Julian.

And what a beautiful place it is.

We had a nice almost flat pitch.

And we were lucky to be able to enjoy the music evening in the pub which is by the way
great to visit.

We had a lovely stay with very nice and lovely trips in the surroundings.

Even saw dolphins in New Quay.

Also thanks to the tips Nicky and Julian gave us.

They really did their best to give us a great stay.

One could make a point of sometimes not having a hot shower but I have heard that’s work in
progress.
Didn’t stop us from staying an extra night.

Beautiful views to wake up to lovely spacious field and not too far away from the main towns

Maybe more lighting needed at night time from the field to toilets as it gets pitch black

Very clean toilets showers and facilities. Well kept pitches. Friendly, helpful owners. Quite, peaceful site. Great scenery.
