Great views, very large pitches and well spaced out. Very peaceful and there was lots of local wildlife, deer and a fox in the top field.. hosts were very helpful and friendly…

Lovely small site, simple but clean and lots of space. You can pitch wherever you like and there’s loads of space so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. I really liked the fact that check out is 4pm so you don’t feel rushed to leave. Nigel, the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us a leaflet on our first day with his contact number and numbers of local taxi firms. There’s a small shower and toilet the lower field, and then a two minute walk away in the top field is a large bathroom with shower and toilet and a separate toilet and sink also. All very clean. There are picnic benches dotted around throughout the whole field which is a lovely touch and was helpful as we’d packed light for this trip. They also offer fire pit hire and logs to purchase which I hadn’t originally spotted on their listing on pitchup but it was on Nigel’s leaflet he gave me.

The views are stunning too! We could hear the faint sound of the road, but it didn’t detract from the site and we’d definitely stay again. Excellent value for money, if you want peace and quiet, then this is the perfect place.

A lovely hedge lined campsite with views of the rolling countryside; great location for walks and coastal visits. The owners were welcoming, helpful and informative.
The large grass covered "bottom field" enables you to pitch with plenty of space from your fellow campers.
The site has two showers, three 'loos', an open air washing-up station, drinking water taps, a waste disposal point, as well as refuse bins.
As stated - if you are seeking "stacks of facilities, pools, clubhouses and swish bathrooms" then this is not the place for you.

Nothing to dislike ... ... would visit again.

Amazing space to make your own, great to have bench to sit at, and clean facilities. Peaceful great views and easy reach on foot to Lyme around an hour.
