The showers seemed brand new, were very clean and had lovely hot water. We camped on the left hand side of the field by the river and experienced a lot of mosquitoes. It may be best to camp on the right hand side further from the river. There is no wifi but we had perfect signal on the field, (and we have pretty rubbish old phones!).
All of the staff were very helpful and lovely to talk to, couldn’t do enough for us. Their Labrador Poppy got on great with our Chihuahua Jessie, and made her feel at ease on her first ever camping trip!
The site is a short drive from Keswick for shopping and Derwentwater for walking and boat trips.
We had a lovely time and would love to come back next year!

Yes there was a men's toilet out of use for one of the nights this was an issue we resolved as quickly as we could and we opened the second toilet block during this time.
We always get great feedback from the showers so its a shame you found them disappointing. As a pop up campsite we hire the very best and latest equipment we can get.
