N'a pas aimé : It was advertised as having a park but the park had no slide and not very good for younger children. Alittle disappointing that we didn’t see anyone for our entire stay, self check in. The shower block was basic but clean. Luckily we were pitched a few caravans down from it but because of the bad weather we had lots of people driving to the toilets with their only being 1 toilet block. This was not great for the kids playing out as the cars/ vans were driving over to the block from the other end of the site parking and reversing where the kids were crossing to the field. Because of the bad rain our pitch flooded the awning.
We apologize if you didn’t encounter any staff during your visit. While our hours are reduced during the winter period, we’re still open four days a week on the campsite, and our main centre is available 24/7. As part of our winter adjustments, we close three of the toilet blocks due to lower demand.
Although the campsite play park doesn't feature a slide, we do have a large, destination play park with multiple slides and other attractions available free of charge at our nearby country park. We hope this alternative will be an enjoyable experience for families visiting.
