Lovely peaceful site with super friendly and helpful owners and its always a bonus to have a pub right next door to the site! I know they're currently in the process of renovating so we'll definitely be back :)

Stayed with hubby and 4 dogs (a real dog friendly site. Not many places allow more then 2 dogs ) we were all welcomed and made to feel at home as soon as we got there . Nothing was too much trouble. The price was very reasonable the location excellent. Can not recommend enough. 100 percent will be returning 🥰

Nice little site,four hard standing pitches with hook up, site wardens very friendly, good walking along river idle & Chesterfield canal nearby, good pub 2 minutes walk from site would definitely come here again

lovely little gem of a place , nice and clean , very quite , great walks and scenery and the live on site owners are lovely and helpful , full of info if needed , really great couple.

Great site with friendly and helpful wardens.
Able to easily extend our stay. Ideal location for us. Level pitch. Well drained.

Peaceful with direct access to riverside footpath.

Loved the place, excellent walks along the river idle. Very tranquil and quiet at night.

Annie and Mark the wardens do a excellent job of keeoing the place neat and tidy as well as pushing aling the improvements to the site. They are very helpful and akways there to answer any questions.

The pub a few yards away serves meals and has a great outdoor area.

Will be back soon!!

Having leave and come home!!!

Having stayed here for one night l can safely disregard the previous reviews. The road is tarmac, the site is clean and tidy or though it is still work in progress. The wardens are polite and helpful.
This site is for people who want peace and quiet, steady walks along the river bank and wildlife spotting .
The pub 5 minutes walk away serve excellent food and beer.
Not forgetting the golf driving range 15 balls for£1

NOTHING

The kids absolutely loved the golf driving range and the wardens was very friendly and they do an amazing at keeping the place really clean and tidy. The little area for the tents and caravans is really quiet and peaceful just what we needed. Being close to the pub was really good and they serve good food which was a plus for us. We also visited Yorkshire wildlife park as it was only a short drive away. We have already planned our next trip and can’t wait.
