It was quiet, toilet block was clean.

There was dog muck on the ground.

Toilets were clean and better than expected. Selection of hygiene products and toiletries inside which was a lovely touch.

Cows in surrounding fields

Not a dislike at all but 2 of the baby cows escaped their enclosure a few times and were roaming the camping field which was a little daunting going to the toilet block as their mother was clearly distressed and was trying to protect her babies from perceived threat and there was nobody around to make aware of this.

Outstanding views, relaxed atmosphere, best loos ever 👌, free roaming calves were a delight 😊.

Better provide hot shower (insert coins) facilities;
Hard top building for temporary sheltering in case of extreme weather conditions !

Amazing location, very peaceful with outstanding views, facilities were very clean and a nice surprise as we were not expecting any for the price. Local pub was a 20 minute walk away, nice area to sit out and while away a few hours. We didn't have any but the food looked excellent.
Great site to stop over for one night or the weekend also good location to explore the Peak district from.

Lovely little campsite to stay at, perfect to be able to pitch up right next to my car. Toilets were very clean.

Lovely ground, nice toilet facilities and little treats for the dogs which was a nice touch. Beautiful location and good value for money. We’ll be back!
