The site, though very much in the coun, is close to Penryn, but you could easily blink and miss it, finding yourself in beautiful Falmouth before you realise it... Plenty to see and get there!

Menallack is a really great and beautiful location, with good facilities. Water, electricity, showers/toilets, washing up points, a nice walk down the bottom...

Sherran, our host, was very genial - welcoming, supportive and helpful. We had a great laugh with her one evening... She works very hard and enhanced our stay.

We will certainly be returning when we can. - Loved it! 😃

Nothing, really. We had a few wet days, but that can hardly be helped. 😁

We had a beautiful time here! Very clean and well maintained, communal fridge freezer, kettle toaster, coffee machine and washing machine, air hockey table and football nets for the kids which was brilliant, option to hire fire pits and wood. You can also go down into the wooded area and make a fire around the fire pit which is beautiful. The owner sheran is brilliant and very attentive, we had such a lovely stay and had everything we needed we will definitely be back again, thank you.

Lovely lady that ran it came round to check we were OK. Very lovely to talk to.
We were located next to amenities (which were very clean and kept tidy) which suited us well and the pitch size was great for what we needed.
Was very peaceful at times.
Is quite secluded as have to drive through country lanes and there is no WiFi so can be off grid and enjoy nature.

Was a little tricky to figure out where our plot was at first as wasnt stated we needed to find a small board with information.
Our pitch was quite slanted so found it difficult to sleep most nights as kept rolling into each other.
No WiFi points so made planning days out a little difficult.
No quiet hours at night, we were woken up a few times after 2am by people talking quite loudly and playing music.
Local nature walk could possibly have some signs as we got lost.

The site manager was lovely, friendly and helpful always stopping for a chat. The site was a real get-away-from-it-all place and the caravan was well equipped too. Our boys loved the football pitch and the air hockey, and there were lots of information leaflets for visiting local attractions.

Black mould in the caravan from damp - could do with a deep clean and refresh on the shower sealant. The Wi-Fi was intermittent, this wasn’t really an issue for us, but might be for others.

Really nice friendly set up & accommodation was well presented and comfortable.

Sheran the lovely lady who runs the sight will go above and beyond to help you in any way she can. Nice hot showers fridge freezers in kitchen microwave also. Sight was always clean sheran was always on sight cleaning and fixing anything needed unfortunately you can't clean 24/7 and the facilities are only as clean as visitors keep them. Site is a great base to visit all over Cornwall this is our 3rd year and we will be back again next year. There is a lovely woods you can walk through with your kids or dogs. Thanks again for making our stay fabulous as always

Absolutely amazing stay. Lovely campsite, with really big pitches, a lovely little woodland trail with goats and sheep along the way, that lead to the big fire pit. Smaller fire pits and wood were also available so kids could roast Marshmallows.
Campsite owner, Sheron, was amazing, a great laugh, she came to check in with everyone everyday to make sure everything was OK and if we needed anything. Our tent leaked really bad 2 days before we were leaving, everything was soaking wet, she kindly leant us one of her spare tents for the last 2 nights of our stay. The campsite has a good washing up area with use of the fridge and freezer, kettle, microwave, free use of the washing machine, great showers and an air hockey table for the kids, plus football goals on both top and bottom fields. Our lad had a great time as did we!
Great signing in procedure, no reception desk just a quick note to say what pitch number you're on, so a great idea!
Toilets and showers extremely clean, cleaned every day and if the toilet roll had run out, there was always a spare one, the small loo block near us was very handy, especially as I have Parkinson’s so really appreciated the loo's being close to our tent especially when I needed the loo during the night.
Kitchen had lots of spare pots and pans etc if you needed anything. Will definitely recommend and definitely be going back, might even bring the rest of the family along too. Thanks for a memorable stay Sheron x A+

Pitches were large and the owners located our two pitches next to each other, close to facilities. Lovely views across the valley. Picnic tables available and wood for sale for fires. Washing up area was clean with plenty of hot water. Toilets and showers were OK, too. Location was great for the short break we were looking for.

Chemical waste disposal point right next to us was aromatic at times.
