Sanitäreinrichtung ist renovierungsbedürftig. Defekte Toilettenspülungen, Türen, Duschen, Wasserhahn.
Die Büsche und Bäume müssen geschnitten werden. Die Stellplätze sind etwas zugewachsen.

Close to hiking trails

No hot water for washing dishes, Overdue maintenance of the sanitary facilities, especially the showers

Location - lovely views, bus service close by; Freshly baked bread available on demand from shop on site; Helpful staff/ owner; Great washing and drying machines; Shower blocks cleaned thoroughly each day; friendly bar/cafeteria; great local restaurant about a mile away (but along a busy road with no footpath)

Broken /missing shower heads; unreliable hot water in showers; sanitation block needs updating

Staff where lovely and very helpful

Site was clean but definitely needs up dating. Showers was clean but it was a bit like Russian roulette as to whether you got a hot one or a cold one. The pictures itself were partitioned off with a hedge which collected the bugs so we got eaten alive shop wasn’t particularly well stocked. I understand this is low season but it was quite a hike to the supermarket.

Very friendly week kept site. Smaller pitches adequate for a short stay, if staying longer I would upgrade. All with electricity and water on the pitch. Toilets and showers very clean but hot water a bit hit and miss, but I believe this is to be resolved in the future. Definitely would return.

Liked the electric and the water was on each pitch. Liked how quiet the surroundings were liked the bar area where we played cards with a couple we met. Liked the pasties. Liked the owner and her son very helpful and friendly. Liked the prices of the bar and hot food. Liked we was right by the shower and toilet block. Overall it was very good value for money site well worth the cost. I’d definitely go back.

Not much to dislike to be honest. I disliked there was no hand drying in the men’s toilets/ washroom. The showers were hit and miss with hot water. And sometimes no water at all. But overall a very pleasant site. Would I go back. Yes definitely. One more little moan. There is a gun club in the distance which is on all day. It didn’t bother us at all. But it bothered one of my dogs. Which tbh I think she got used to it. But it is there in the distance.and theres nowhere to walk the dogs outside the campsite. But that’s a minor moan.

Utsikten, lugnet

Skuggiga trånga platser, inget varmvatten vid diskplats, oregelbunden värme i duschen ibland iskallt ibland hett ibland tog vattnet slut. Ingen gråvattentömning, vid fråga var man skall tömma fick man till svar att vi kunde tömma varsom helst i naturen varvid många tömde på platsen där man stod! 2 tvättmaskiner som var trasiga en vecka innan de lagades. Allmänt sliten anläggning som behöver en rejäl uppfräschning. Toapapper saknades ofta trots trevlig städpersonal. Vi hade bokat 30 dagar och vi var mycket besvikna på området. Efter 6 dagar kände vi att vi ville lämna platsen. Vi träffade då ett par som vi hyrde bil med i 14 dagar som gjorde att kunde uppleva något annat i området runt ikring. Kan ej rekommendera stället!

This campsite is run by friendly English owners who provide a welcoming atmosphere. There’s a small on-site shop offering basic essentials, which is convenient. The facilities are cleaned regularly and the pitches are tidy.

The showers were incredibly frustrating, with warm water lasting only 10 seconds before turning cold, requiring the shower to be turned off and back on constantly—felt like stepping back in time. While the facilities were clean, they could use a refurb. The road was quite tight, making it a bit difficult to get a caravan onto the pitch, we managed it eventually. The water and electricity point on the pitch was in need of repair. Not the site’s fault, but a nearby dog barking day and night was a constant annoyance.
