Despite the weather, our stay was incredible.

Receptionists were lovely, toilet and shower facilities are amazing.

We had that much of an amazing stay, we have extended our visit for another night!

Nothing, would go again anytime

Large fishing campsite, booked last minute. Allocated a pitch for two nights. Showers hot, a bit too hot to be fair, couldn’t adjust.

Friendly staff at reception, very impressive toilets and shower facilities.

Tent users will be disappointed to find no campfires allowed, so cold nights. Also only off ground grills and bbq permitted

Site location is good for traveling around the area. The lakes are a very pleasant walk in the evening. Friendly staff and a good cafe on site.

The site is very close to M69 so constant road noise could be an issue, I used ear plugs. The ground for tents is very hard/ rocky, robust pegs are required. It got very busy and noisy at the weekend.

Scenery was lovely with the fishing lakes and extensive wildlife. The pitches were enormous and well serviced. The facilities were excellent, perhaps the best we have seen with huge showers and quality sanitaryware. Loads of bins, always a plus. Close to Coventry and Nuneaton.

Although it was advertised, no bar was available. We cancelled our stay and were refunded our money without fuss.

Site was fantastic, limited activities unless you like fishing, but the clue is on the name. Clean and well kept bathrooms and showers. Electric and water on each hard standing pitch. Easy access to site, Great 4G phone signal. Makins Cafe looked to be good although we did not use it.

The facilities were great, toilets and showers a good standard. Washing up facilities under cover and hot water. Views over the lake were beautiful. Always someone from the team driving around to check on things. Lovely and quiet.

Shower pressure was amazing but neither of us could manage to change the temperature. It was boiling hot to the point of unbearable at times.
