Lovely welcome from owner Richard who is a font of information, even the dog Skai introduced herself to us and visited every morning at breakfast. We loved the peaceful surroundings even though the weather was a bit bleak. Facilities were great, heated toilets, a caravan that housed a full kitchen for our use, fab heated shower room. The pitches are large, well spaced mixture of gravel and grass, well laid out and wonderfully neat and tidy.

Very friendly and helpful host who was extremely knowledgeable about the area and great to chat to; lovely hard-standing pitch, very level and in a beautiful setting; excellent amenities, incl. a nice hot shower.

Personal greeting by the owner, well proportioned level site with good spacing, additional static van used for wash up and toilets/ showering. Great that’s it open all year round.

Weather

Lovely welcome from the campsite owners and family, including Skai the friendly dog. Clean, well maintained hard standing pitches. Great facilities, use of a static caravan for kitchen and bathroom facilities was brilliant, together with separate quality toilet block (2), everything clean and good quality. Quite a novelty to have use of a microwave! Great value for a short break in a remote and picturesque setting. Lovely walks through the country lanes. Booked this site in the hope of avoiding fireworks which terrify our dog, didn’t hear a thing!! Will definitely be booking again next year.

Nothing really, but to note that the site is remote, going anywhere on foot involves walking on an unlit roads with no pavements.

Sat nav took us through some shocking lanes and tight turns, so follow directions in the information

Lovely welcome by the owner, we really enjoyed the shelter of the caravan acting as a communal kitchen, toilet and shower hub. Shower was great - good temp and pressure, just what we needed! Thank you!
