Second time staying at this campsite, having visited in Aug 23 (this time in Mar 24). The campsite is in a great location, off the main road with limited traffic noise (not much traffic). The orchard is a cute spot with lovely views all around, albeit through gaps in the hedge line that surrounds the site (this does however provide some privacy).
The new owners were very friendly and helpful is showing us around and explaining the facility/providing local recommendations. There is a small bar in the main building which is cosy and minimalist but provides great local beers/ciders and snacks/small plates.
Facilities are communal and generally very good with a good level of cleanliness.
Wheelbarrows were available to transport camping kit to pitches where needed. The pitches themselves generally had plenty of space and easy enough to find.
A local book town with great cafes and pubs was a short drive away and the Brecon hills were also about 30mins away.
