Location. Level pitches. Hosts lovely and friendly. Massive field for the little ones to burn off energy.

Nothing really.

Nice site although very basic. Facilities were very basic but were kept clean at all times. Quiet area and peaceful.

Access road is a bit narrow for the last half a mile but there are a couple of passing places. The site is quite remote, the nearest villages are a good 20 min or 40 min walk on back roads which are busy at times. Not really much to do around the site if you are not planning on driving once pitched up. Kennels nearby were noisy from around 5:30am but calmed down again by around 7am.

Campsite was lovely and quiet, very off the beaten track on a working farm. Views from the campsite were amazing. Lovely flat pitches without stones. Facilities basic but adequate.
Phone reception excellent. Although we didn’t have it, with hindsight we would have had electric hookup to charge phones etc.

The shower facilities were very basic which is fine but the hot water wasn’t hot. Tepid showers are no fun after a hard day walking.

Booked last minute(day before) and received a text message almost straight away from Martin & Stacey with some updated directions and not to follow the SatNav(think one of the roads was closed so could have caused a few issues if advice not heeded)
On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome even in the devon rain and were given the option of two pitches..either in the middle of the electric pitches or an almost peronalised spot in the corner which we chose straight away and glad we did as it felt like we had the whole campsite to ourselves!! Well we almost did minus a few other pitches!!
Shocked at how quiet the site for the first week of the summer holidays not though we complained at all!!
When the rain and cloud passed the site itself has some awesome views and even distant seaviews!!
There were a few sheep in the adjacent field which my daughter took a liking to and stacey come over and asked if she would like to feed one of the sheep which was a very nice touch and made my daughters day!!
Very little road noise which was another bonus!!
Toilets and showers were clean and spotless every time we used them!! Martin & Stacey must visit quite alot throughout the day to make sure everything is spotless!
Washing up area was a nice size and sheltered aswell!
Great location for most of what South Devon has to offer!! We found ourselves at Slapton most nights just admiring the views and the peace and quiet! as well as the seals, crabs and jellyfish.

Not booking for longer! and leaving!!

Not overly busy so had a lot of space for activities and didn’t feel claustrophobic. Good facilities. Location. Views were stunning. Left campsite a bit later than checkout time, host very pleasant and helpful.

Nearby kennels very loud during the night, difficult to sleep.
Dogs had to be kept on lead so couldn’t let my dog burn off steam in the meadow.

Good location, shower works well, clean toilets and good phone signal.

Close to lovely Devon beaches and family attractions. Kingsbridge local shopping in easy reach of site location.
