Check in was easy. Lady that helped us was lovely. Site map given to us with sitw rules and gate number. Peaceful site in a great location. Facilities kept clean and tidy. Water park inflatables great fun for all the family to enjoy.

Lots of trees and nicely cut grass on the camping plots, taps close by and lots of bins. 12 Large unisex bathrooms. With lovely hot showers. Great walks to the local park from site. Great for families

Near to motorway so traffic noise.
No view of lake from site. No visible wardens on site. Lots of rules but many ignoreing them.

Great sized pitches spaced out well and toilet block centrally located, well lit during the night. Clean modern toilet/shower facilities. Friendly staff, great choice of water sports. Over all a great campsite for all.

Lack of activities especially with the lake being closed..would have thought the climbing wall etc to have been open

The pitches were level and the whole camping area had a nice 'forest' feel to it. The pitches were much more spacious than the measurements on pitch up led me to believe.
We had an amazing meal at the Bay Horse inn which was less than a mile away.
Staff (when they were there) were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend the site to families with children as it is a lovely space for children to explore the camping area.

When we arrived, we were told we had come out of the main season and so basically everything was closed. The shop shut about an hour after we got there and the cafe/bar was closed. The welcome pack says it is open from 9am to 10pm but may vary during off peak season. I think closing completely is a far stretch on the 'may vary' narrative. We had deliberately chosen a site with facilities and the price of the pitch was way too expensive for something with everything closed. Watersports closed, all other activities closed, shop closed, pub closed and even the gate that led to the field next door to walk the dogs was locked. Very disappointed.
WiFi should not be an additional cost on a pitch this expensive.

Only dislike was the lake not open which we shud have a little bit of refund back
