Spacious pitches. Clean site

What an idyllic spot! Acres and acres of unspoilt, post-agricultural land along the banks of the Cherwell, bursting with wildlife. In a very short space of time I encountered badgers, foxes, deer, jays and woodpeckers (skylarks, too, singing their hearts out) - not to mention myriad other bird species, including the wildfowl on the beautifully landscaped lakes.

I was greeted upon arrival and given all the information I needed and then completely left to my own devices . . . FANTASTIC!

Throughout my stay, cosy toilet blocks were superbly maintained and cleaned with plentiful hot water and wide rides through the countryside were kept mown short, including the 5 acre 'Dog Field', which the boys (my two Border Collies!) just loved exploring, off lead. They were most amused by the neighbouring llamas . . .

If you're looking for peace and quiet, away from it all, but want to be within reach of all that Oxford and The Cotswolds have to offer, then this is the site for you. Loved it!

We had a friendly welcome. Our pitch was in a quiet area as we requested. The whole site is kept very tidy in beautiful countryside and lakes. The toilet block was very clean at all times. Thank you

We did hear the light aircraft and trains but they were a background noise only.

Lovely site, nice layout of pitches. Friendly staff and good facilities.

As we went in March, it’s dark by 6pm. There was no lighting around the pitches. It was a bit of a walk to the facilities and would definitely be an improvement to have lighting.

Nice organised and clean site. Warm welcome on arrival.
Particularly liked the fact that the cafe was open in March and was able to serve alcohol!

Stayed here for just 1 night with my 9 year old in our VW camper van. Went for an electric hook up gravel pitch and it was perfect. Number 55 right next to the play park which was perfect whilst I set the van up. Arrived about 2pm. They have a well stocked shop at reception. We tried a spot of fishing with no luck. Toilets and showers are clean and tidy. Would happily of stayed longer.
