Clean facilities and friendly staff nice quiet area.The fishing was great when they switched onto the bait

Really friendly site and facilities very clean. Great place to visit.

Nothing on this visit at all.

The site is in a beautiful setting, well maintained and very quiet. The bar is great with friendly staff and very reasonable prices and a great pint of Guinness. We used the restaurant on several occasions for breakfast and also had a fab Thai curry.
The cost of staying is very reasonable and we had to extend our stay for an additional week which they sorted without any fuss.
Overall a great 3 week break and we will definitely return.

Rather than a dislike these are suggestions to make it even better:-
1)Toilet blocks could benefit from more regular visits to top up hand towels and ensure they’re being left clean by the campers.
2) Having areas to be able to recycle bottles/cans/cardboard.
3)Hadn’t used the electric cards before and the bleeping sound warning that you’re running out of credit is a bit irritating as can be clearly heard in the caravan.

Didn't know how many events they have over weekend during the summer, just would have chosen a pitch a bit further away from the action if we had known

The welcome we received when we arrived. The site and toilet facilities were immaculate.
Added bonus of a car boot on the field next door.

There was nothing to dislike about this site.

Absolutely fantastic site, we camped without electric and had a brilliant time. There was more than plenty of space so didn't have people on top of us and could have a raised fire pit for the cooler evening
The whole site was so well maintained and the facilities available were clean, tidy and really well kept.
The staff were all brilliant and super helpful.
Was lucky enough to pair our stay on a Wednesday so got to see Wheelie Wednesday in full swing which was awesome.
We fished a few times as well and had a absolute blast, lakes were really well stocked and again plenty of room to not be on top of other anglers.
We will absolutely return again!!!!

Nothing we disliked - however it would be good to have a small shop (if the opportunity ever arises) for essentials or fishing essentials - but there is a garage down the road should you need anything like bread or milk etc.

Was very clean inside, nice and private, fenced off garden with a hot tub . On arrival , did not have to wait in reception, was emailed my code to collect keys at lodge . Will definitely stay again next year, staff very friendly and helpful.

A peaceful place to stay. Accommodation was clean. Toilet block and shower were clean.

Getting the "tin bivvy" next to the swim was a real bonus for night fishing and added a touch of luxury. Son caught PB catfish. Will go back very soon.
