Freedom to pitch where you like. Easy to check in, just drive up the track and there will be a warden ready to meet you and give you a brief run down of the campsite. There was loads of space with 3 huge fields to choose from and lovely views. The local pub 5 minutes walk away is a great way to break up the evening, definitely staying again soon.

Pitch where you want. Lots of room for kids to play. Lots of fire pits dotted about which you can use, and move to where you pitch. Nice wood fired pizza in a Saturday.

Walks on the doorstep to Ebbor Gorge and Wookey Hole. And Cheddar Gorge.

Wooded area with seating. Easy walking distance to pub. You can camp where you like, which is good for groups. Compost toilets, no showers.

Went to pay when we got there, nicely signed, no confusion. The owner was really nice and chatty. We had a choice of 3 huge fields, and after speaking to another helpful member of staff at the campsite, we went and found a spot to put the tent up. Found a nice corner. There was a festival close by so they were very busy, but there was still plenty of space to not be on top of other campers. There were toilets there, compost toilets, which did creep me out at first but, better than porter loos! And better than nothing. They do say there are no showers, so don't understand people moaning about lack of showers. It was a lovely stay, and actually, even though it was so busy, it was so quiet at night! And the most amazing view just up the road.
