We politely ask guests to keep vehicles on the hardstanding areas to save the grass as much as possible as we are in the midst of a heatwave and drought with a hosepipe ban after a whole summer of hot weather. The grass is there I promise, it is just brown and dry.
Hopefully we will see you again in the wet but beautiful Autumn when it's luscious and green again!

We have no further record of your return that day, and the pitch remained unused for the rest of your booking.
We did try to follow up by messaging the contact number on your booking, but the response indicated the number was not associated with anyone named Sue. That made it difficult for us to assist or clarify if youwere okay or had just decided to not return.
Just to note, pitch allocations are made by us on arrival, and a one-night booking doesn't guarantee a particular spot. As such, we're surprised by your review of the site’s facilities, as it appears you were not on-site long enough to experience them.
With over 200 positive reviews, we’re proud of the customer service and atmosphere we work hard to maintain. You seemed lovely and happy when you arrived, even complimenting the site, so a quick knock on the door or phone call would likely have resolved any confusion immediately.

Bridgette came and greeted me once I'd pictched up and explained where everything was and also a contact number in case of needing help.
