The Sustran cycle Route 65 passes nearby - it is a lovely route into York via the Racecourse, the old Terry's Chocolate Factory and along the riverside - some lovely pubs and cafes along the route at Naburn, Bishopthorpe, Rowntrees Park and the riverside..you can literally cycle into York ending up at the famous Kings Arm on Kings Staith.
