Fabulous views over Callington from my pitch. Toilets and showers were spotless.

The Engine Room café/restaurant, again with great views, serves good quality food at reasonable prices. Really good vibes with locals using it as a meeting place.

Everyone really friendly.

Just an observation. Because of its elevation it can be exposed to strong winds.

Metered electric, charged at commercial rate, and received a number of messages suggesting i top up. Used leisure battery eventually

Layout of site good and toilets and showers very clean. Staff very friendly especially in cafe/ restaurant

Shower cubical was a little tight and nowhere to put shower gel etc. Electric a bit pricey

Lovely friendly campsite. This is our 3rd stay. The staff in the Engine House cafe are super friendly and the food is great value for money. The cleanliness of the showers and toilets on every occasion are the cleanest I think we have ever been to. Lovely to see that all showers and sinks have been recently updated. The only criticism I would say is that the showers are a bit on the snug side, but I’ll take that knowing they are so clean.

Level pitches although terraced. Plenty of room.
Restaurant on site. Excellent toilets and showers....

No grey water emptying for motor homes. Only one water tap.
Electric on app which was basically £5 a day very basic use..... could be very expensive to turn on heating and hot water when weather gets cold.

Facilities kept clean. The views from the site are wonderful.

Cost of electricity which is purchased online seems a bit high.

Staff were friendly, the campsite was nicely maintained and our pitch was pleasant. Nothing not to like!

What a little gem outside Callington. We were visiting family and a last minute booking at Compton Park we were greeted by a friendly young lady in the restaurant who registered our arrival and gave us clear instructions for our pitch and the facilities.
Our pitch was large and plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the view.
We could see kit hill behind us and have found memories of claiming the hill and flying kites sone 60years ago.
The toilets and showers were very clean and paper hand towels the first after staying in five others sites. There is a washing line if you need it which was good for drying towels. The Coffee shop does yummy cakes, breakfast and lunchtime meals available. All served by friendly staff. Excellent for touring the area with Plymouth, Tavistock, Launceston services by Bus from Kelly Bray. Tesco superstore 5mins by car to stock up.
