Clean amenities block, plenty of toilets & showers. Very pleasant staff who were just leaving for the day when we arrived

No hot water (luke warm) in the washing up, shower went off very quickly probably about 5 seconds so you constantly had to push the button. Shower matting would be good. We felt as though we were camping in a car park. Nobody there other than work people who came and went at odd times - I think we only saw 1 person the whole time we were there although there were about 8 units

Campsite was very neat and well groomed. It had amazing views over Callington. The food in the restaurant was lovely and good portions too.

Friendly welcome up on arrival, nice clean tidy well maintained site. Level gravel pitches, good clean modern facilities, great views and super sunsets.

We chose to stay at Compton Park with friends to watch the summer solstice sunrise because of its location on Kit Hill. The plan was to stay one night allowing us to get up early for the short walk to the top of Kit Hill to watch the sun rise above Dartmoor. Within an hour of arrival we decided to stay for the weekend. The campsite is located on the west side of Kit Hill with magnificent views over south east Cornwall and Bodmin moor and would be a great base to explore the area. The on site restaurant and bar is a real plus, we ate there every night the varied menu, quality, quantity, taste and value for money were all excellent. We also discovered a liking for strawberry daiquiris which we took back to our pitch to enjoy. The on site toilet and showers were in a wooden cabin and were well laid out, spacious and spotlessly clean. In summary this friendly family run site has many superb qualities and I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay.

The space, view, other campers very welcoming, staff in restaurant also 👍🏼very friendly. Location is perfect for me visiting family close by. Price very reasonable.

The idea of staying there, unfortunately the pitches that were left were unsuitable for twin axle caravans. Very friendly staff and refund offered and given immediately
