Site is spotless, the communal cabin is great and very welcoming.
We arrived Friday afternoon, set up camp, then had a lovely moonlit walk around the mere, then back to van for tea followed by a couple of bottles of red in the cabin.
Saturday we set off to Ellesmere, taking the canal path, had a few beers in the pub, (white Hart), no food available but we were able to take our fish and chips in and watch the rugby in a very friendly atmosphere.
The walk back in the dark was a challenge but fun and very peaceful.N'a pas aimé : Nothing to dislike, just perfect.

I go there to cycle but there are plenty of walks to be had too. The on site 'lodge' is great if your a little damp, want to boil a kettle or just want to sit on furniture rather than the floor of your tent.
