There was nothing to dislike, pitches where great and more than big enough, host was amazing nothing was to much trouble. Walks and facilities was over and above what is expected

Site - wonderful clean, well laid out site

Dog walks around the farm - so nice to be able to walk our dogs properly in the morning and evening without going off site

The only thing we didn't like was the smell from the enclosed pig farm near to the campsite. We knew the site was on a working farm but there was no smells from there, only from the pigs. A real shame as it did spoil sitting around on site a bit, especially if the wind was in the wrong direction. Would rate as a five star if not for this.

The location for exploring surrounding areas was excellent. The cottage /barn was really good value for money and had a well equipped kitchen. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely site in a great location off a very short lane from the A170. Close to Pickering and the North Yorkshire National Park and market towns.
**Do NOT travel on the A170 from Thirsk - Pickering if towing a caravan as they are prohibited due to a steep gradient at Sutton Bank**
Pitches are hardstanding mostly level, some will need levelling blocks.
Water collection points - there are many situated all around between pitches.
Toilet block with 2 showers and toilets in each, Family washroom/disabled facilities, Laundry room with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.
Bins, recycling, elsan point and grey waste points.
3 dog walks from site.
Electric is metered but not expensive depending on your usage though.
Lovely family run farm, nice welcome from the owners and pleasant to deal with.
Fish and chip van comes on Saturdays, competitive prices.
Fresh eggs £1 half dozen.
Definitely recommend and will return.

Lovely little site with stunning views. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, tidy pitches. Facilities were clean and well kept. Perfect location very pretty area, with lots to do close by.

Please note this is constructive criticism and would absolutely not stop us from staying again! The pitches we were on, were on a very high slope. We needed to put breeze blocks and wooden blocks under the front wheel and the front legs of our tourer it wasn’t ideal. The shower head also didn’t move, they need to be adjustable as you can’t not get your hair wet but doesn’t seem to get your body that wet. They are at a strange angle.
