Very clean site.

Wasn’t really as advertised on pitch up. The main bar wasn’t open on a Saturday night nor were there any entertainment - they had a bottle only bar with an Alexa playing who h doesn’t accept cash.

Aside from this if camping in a tent the pitches are really crammed in. So much so we could hear the conversation taking place in the tent next to us.

We were told works to improve were still to be completed however this was t advertised at all on pitch up.

The whole place. The wardens Tony & Sheila were so welcoming could not be more knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely bar area which we enjoyed. Amazing shower facilities.

Absolutely nothing to dislike

Lovely, peaceful and spotlessly clean/tidy site with some of the best facilities we've ever had while camping. Very recently taken over and the new owners have big plans – so the brilliant wardens Tony and Sheila told us. They were great, stopped for a chat with us every day to make sure we had everything we needed and answer any questions. It's only a 10 minute drive from Cherry Burton (the site is just on the outskirts of the village) into Beverley, you could probably walk it in around an hour. We popped in for some lunch and a look around the shops on the Saturday afternoon. There's also a small shop (Budgens) in Cherry Burton village which seemed well stocked (we called in for BBQ coals). We were lucky to have great weather over the weekend – dry and sunny but not too hot. We enjoyed an evening walk around the abandoned golf club next to the site – although this might be back up and running in the near future and access to it closed off. The toilet/shower block was amazing, absolutely pristine – 5 x the same set-up, each with shower, loo and sink. The site also has some self-contained cabins you can hire towards the back – we might look into to these outside of camping season (it looks like one of these is available through PitchUp). A few of the reviews we read before we went mentioned the site having a lot of work done and that it was untidy – not sure how people expect things to be improved or get done, but it felt pretty tidy to us, some fencing had been put up to hide some of the machinery etc. There are plans for the marquee towards the back of the site to be opened back up again in the future – for now there is a gazebo set up as a bar selling drinks on an evening (Fri and Sat anyway, not sure about other evenings) and picnic tables to sit on.

Only a small gripe, just something I'd ask PitchUp to change, really – we chose the site as it was listed as adults only, and it's not – there were kids there at the same time as us, only a few but a bit noisy on the Friday evening. There are also plans to expand the site with a kids playground. We'd visit again but outside of school holidays.

Booked based on website via pitch up, arrived on the Sunday, no onside coffee bar, pizza oven was removed during our stay, a pop up bottle bar was opened after we had been there a week, advertisement did not reflect what was on site, infact quite misleading

This is an excellent site. A quiet location just outside Cherry Burton but also very close to Beverley. Joe the site manager who greeted us was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The site is a very good layout. The shower facilities are extremely modern and clean. The new owners have just taken over and are in the process of revamping some sections, including the bar area, so we fully intend to visit again in the near future to see how they have progressed. I would highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

Lovely clean site, 10min walk into Cherry Burton. Shower rooms all individual and exceptionally clean. Joe was very helpful, told us about the summer fair that was on on Sunday and we went and had a lovely afternoon. Would visit this site again.

Could do with having the bar on site back up and running. Believe there are new owners who intend to do this and many other things.

The microlodge had everything we needed,we were the only ones there so very private. Only 3 miles from Beverly, we really enjoyed our stay

Not really a dislike but seems they are in the middle of replacing a few of the lodges

The pitch was excellent, showers and toilets first class, access to Beverly, Hull & York is brilliant.
