Près d’Azay le rideau qu’il faut absolument visiter.

This is a very nice campground at a mill. The mill is still working - at least the wheel is still running - and provides a very nice athmosphere. The pitches are large and you a pick your own.
Sanitary facilities are very clean and there are enough showers/toilets for the campsite.

This site beat all our expectations. We managed to find a spot right by the river under a beautiful willow tree. It was peaceful, quiet but very close to the village. The large supermarket was a 3 minute cycle ride or a 15 minute walk. Everything you need and more under one roof. A pharmacy close by also.
Fantastic cycling right from this campsite. Bars and restaurants close by and a beautiful river that you can go canoeing in.
Very reasonable priced with electronic hook up and they even sell fresh produce from the reception area.
Would highly recommend this camping place. Loved it and will definitely return if ever passing that way. July 2025

Nothing to dislike. My favourite site out of the 7 we went to.

Quiet, large pitches, good facilities, friendly, helpful staff, lots of wildlife, easy access to local town

No swimming spots nearby

Peaceful and tranquil location.
We saw otters in the river.
The working water mill was beautiful.
Funny donkeys.
The check in was simple and friendly.
We bought the most delicious organically grown tomatoes from the owner.
Spacious pitch close to water tap and electric.
Great local bike rides on peaceful roads alongside vineyards and sunflower fields.
Amazing local wine.
Close to boulangeries and grocers selling really good food.

Lack of dedicated facility for chemical waste.

Peaceful site with plenty of shade, and an easy going attitude to allow you to select your own pitch. Good sanitary facilities, and home grown organic produce for sale. Feels like it’s the middle of nowhere, but there’s a supermarket 3 mins drive / 10 mins walk away.

Although Pitch up asks what time you will arrive, check the opening times to make sure someone will be there. Access is over the bridge - otherwise it’s a three post turn in a narrow lane.
