Amazing facilities, great surroundings, spacious pitches

Truly one of the prettiest, well laid out sites we have visited. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and the facilities top notch. I usually shower in the van but the showers were so great I used them a few times during our visit. There’s a little marquee and bar for communal use and we were treated to a country singer one evening.

Having to leave! If pushed I’d say lack of WiFi, 4G or even phone signal!

Everything! The pitches are flat and freshly mown. The site is sectioned off by beautiful small trees. There are water filling facilities dotted around the site. The shop has everything you might have forgotten including some things we can’t get in our local superstore! There is a well kept communal seating area with benches outside and in a marquee. The toilets and showers were immaculately clean with a small selection of sanitary products if you were caught out. The showers stay hot and the water runs away from your dressing area. There was a small stool provided within the showers for dressing and enough hooks to hang everything up! The dish washing area was also spotless with the option to use communal fridges, freezers and laundry facilities. There are some lovely country dog walk options with paths through fields and woodland. Our phone signal was a bit sketchy but the WiFi was sufficient to allow us to stream the football (the owners offered to put it on the big TV if we couldn’t)….And best of all they have some guineafowl and 3 eagles on site!!

We cannot rate this site highly enough. We were welcomed by the friendly site owner who gave us a choice of pitches, all of which were level and of ample size with the services all close by. The shower and toilet block was close by and exceptionally well cleaned and maintained. We wanted to find a pub nearby and were given a choice of 5 pubs serving evening meals, we chose the Railway at North Elmham which was only 10 minuets drive away and proved to be an excellent choice. The grounds surrounding the pitches are well maintained and proved large enough to give our dog a reasonable walk. We would also like to give a mention to Mo the 12 week old Rottweiler puppy who is absolutely gorgeous

Absolutely everything!! The campsite is so well organised. The pitches are flat and spacious, the toilets and showers are immaculate, the washing up block is very clean. They provide 3 fridge freezers, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and even an iron with ironing board which are all free to use!!

There is a massive play area with slids and climbing frame for young kids. For older kids, there are 2 sets of football goalies and a basketball frame to play with.

I love the onsite shop, it is well stocked with essentials. There is no phone signal throughout the site, however they provide free WiFi for guests and signal are strong near the reception.

The owner is very helpful and friendly.

What a lovely campsite.The showers and toilet facilities spotlessly clean.The washing up room was very well equipped,with sinks,washing machines,dryers and fridge freezers.The location was very peaceful and lots of walks nearby.Would go again.

Well kept grounds and immaculate washroom/shower facilities.
Constant flow in showers, not push button.
Secured with locked gates at night.
Little shop in reception for your essential bits.
Large heated marquee with plenty of seating and free WiFi.
Big grassed area with football goals and basketball hoop.

On arrival we were escorted to our pitch by the friendly staff, despite the weather.

The size of pitches are very generous and reasonably level. We did not feel crowded or on top of our neighbouring campers.

We could use the site WiFi although this did drop every now and then, although this tended to be linked to the weather conditions.

Although the weather was terrible, the shower/toilet facilities were very clean and well maintained throughout our stay and never a queue or a wait for the shower.

Although we no longer have younger children there was plenty of activities on-site for them.

On the Saturday and Sunday evenings there was entertainment.

The small bar was a nice onsite addition and the small shop offered the usual staples for a camper.

There were often different wildlife wondering/flying around the site

The weather, but that’s nothing that the owners could control ;)
There is nothing about this site that we disliked.
