N'a pas aimé : Not enough showers for all campers, we stayed in the overflow field and the toilets down there weren’t pleasant. We were told upon arrival to keep noise to a minimum ‘quote - not using bongos’ however we were across from a large group of about 30 people including children who had music blasting and their kids screaming and shouting each night til past midnight despite being told numerous times from the host to keep it down. The issue wasn’t dealt with and for that we will not be returning to this site again.

There was plenty of choice for space and each side of the field had it's own beautiful view of the surround areas. They provided simple toilet block and shower which was actually better than some hotels I have stayed in. Located a 5 min drive from Buxton with great links to surrounding walks. We were met by Colin and his pooches who gave us a good idea of the lay of the land and additional walks recommended.
