Hardstanding pitch had a concrete slab and chippings, which were both level and didn't need ramps. Only thing I found a little annoying, but thought I'd mention it, was the hedge separating each pitch is a bit close to the concrete slab, so i had to get in and out using the passenger door to use the full chipping for my canopy. I dont think the hedges are necessary, but some may like them.
