Lovely outdoor pool for kids and small site for camping

Cleanliness of toilets was awful, staff customer service near non existent, pool shuts for activities during the day, and the food served on site wasn’t good.

Outdoor heated pool, good breakfast in cafe, lots of waste facilities. Good laundry facilities. Nice location near Burgh Castle with easy walk to two pubs. Shop on nearby site.

Push button showers don't stay on long enough, map does not give detail of water supply or waste water disposal. Drink deals in bar not clear. Staff are young and aren't particularly friendly or helpful.

Nice hot showers the camping field was nice and quiet and all on the level.
Good value for money. Choose of swimming pools, club house and arcade.

Smelly disabled toilet. Having to hold shower button in all the time to get hot water.

great break accept for the rain which can't be helped good walks plenty wildlife to watch.

Check in was easy enough

Swimming pool kept opening and closing so kept having different time slots for the kids to swim. Could only order food poolside via the app. Couldn't get the app downloaded so needless to say ended up going off site for food. Kids arcade machines never seem to print winning tickets out as always running out (apparently)? Kids park is a bit tired and sad needless to say they only used it for about 5 minutes.

Good, clean (screen-free) family fun. Watching the children make new friends every day is my favourite part of the holiday. Outside pool pleasantly warm. Camping site staff visibly keeping the toilets and kitchen area clean, meaning they’re a pleasure to use. Bingo Ga Ga was great (would be better played earlier in the evening as the warm-up for the big prize bingo game before the little ones run out of steam).

We brought the grandchildren for a short 2 night break.

They liked the outdoor swimming pool and the go carts.

We liked that the park area was nice and secure for the kids.

We liked that there was a nice walk with nice views to take the dog.

There is a supermarket a short drive from the site.

There is a nice room with sinks to wash your pots in.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Although there are notices across the park saying dogs should be kept on leads, we saw several that weren’t. We saw dogs wandering around and toileting with no owner to notice let alone pick it up after them. We own a very anxious dog so this was a big problem for us.

The showers were the worse I have come across on a campsite. It’s great that you don’t have to put money in them, but you have to stand and push hard to hold the button to get any water. As soon as you take your hand off, the water stops. It makes a relaxing wash and hair washing practically impossible. It also meant that the kids couldn’t manage alone.

I paid £3.15 for a bottle of water which I thought was overly expensive. That said, the food was pretty good.
