You do refer to the toilets as basic, I think you have to agree they have everything required and are kept very clean.
Yes ,the private function was a surprise 80th birthday party for a local resident, who greatly enjoyed the very unexpected treat.
You and the other campers were emailed the information earlier in the week with directions and pitch no's along with information we would close the tea room but takeaway orders for food and drinks would be available , which we happily delivered if required. Reopening for breakfast from 8.30am Sunday.
We hope to see you back here again one day. It was great to have a phone chat.

Charming restaurant and bar area and although we didn’t have a meal, we tried the local cider and homemade cake, both of which were delicious. We purchased wood from the site and had a firepit next to our tent after our dinner which was a lovely touch. The facilities were nice and clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring Devon and Dorset and we’ll definitely be back at some point
