Fantastic location, space and freedom to choose pitch.

These are relatively minor issues but worth noting: The toilet and washing up facilities are in need of a bit of TLC. They are adequate but a bit grubby.

Just the basics here. There's toilets fed by rain water. A place to wash dishes (not drinking water) fires allowed in fire pits (bring your own) wood for sale. Good atmosphere for kids to go play and meet new friends. Had a quiet night, was lovely to reset and reconnect and talk with each other.

This place is a serene place , feels like your miles from anywhere , children playing , no iPads to be seen .. the kids love the water and making new friends playing football .. no hassle no rude people .. lovely place

Actual wild camping feel, great location with river you can swim and kids can play in that surrounds it, use of firepits is always essential for me and why weve used this place a few times, poppy was very friendly, was very peaceful and tranquil in evenings even when there was lots of people staying. Will be back a once again when we have time

Toilets were clean and kept stocked up. Nice pub near by but no real paths on the road there.

It was a bank holiday weekend so busier than normal but too many aggressive dogs. Also people playing loud music from their cars and then running the engine to stop the battery going flat is not my idea of wild camping.
