Price for small tent, excellent value for the much, much larger tents and family groups. I agree the toilets are kept clean and being decorated, which is a nice touch.

Entrance to site is suicidal, if the gate is shut you are sitting in alive lane on the road. I was nearly wiped out by a HGV coming round the bend past the gate. This gate needs moving back down the lane to the position where the camera is located. If you have not had an accident here already you will have one. Lots of noise from jet engines raving at the airport. Plant and machinery noise from HS2 work taking place with increased heavy vehicle movements. Not quite, not idyllic, not relaxing. This may have been a nice location before HS2 but not any longer.

Liked the freedom to pitch where you liked. River nice, there was a football table and table tennis Set up. Some swings the children enjoyed. A clean site mostly. Great placement to watch planes, midland air museum and Lunt fort. A wild camp so no Wi-Fi but I had signal so rated it 5 as it’s wild so not expected.

That the pitch where you liked meant some people could end up very close to you. It got very busy and people weren’t spread out well. No place to get rid of rubbish which was a pain. The toilets needed some repair to shut well but the staff were trying to fix this. However staff not always around or obvious if there’s issues.

Natural location, ease of booking, ease of arriving on site and pitching up. we didnt need to sign in as the CCTV logged us in via our car reg! The toilets and sinks were good. Staff were friendly and approachable. The river and rope swings were fun. There was an open field for the children to play and table football and table tennis available and trees to climb. We cheated on night 1 and ordered dominoes pizza to the site! the kids loved this! close proximity to coventry. - we went to "The Wave" halfway through our stay. This provided a good trip and a sneaky way of getting a wash! Good camp site.

The lack of fresh water did prove a problem. Please stock up on Fresh water. There are of course no showers. Not a problem for some people, but a must for others...

Was able to pitch up where ever we wanted and was not limited to space, lovely atmosphere and set back far enough from the road that was nice and peaceful. Facilities were kept nice and clean.

In the confirmation email it states ‘Units will be allocated on arrival.’ which confused us as there was no one to meet you on arrival so we spent the 1st 10min wondering where we were allowed to pitch up and then if we were ok where we did decided to camp.

Also it states that quiet hours are between 10pm - 6am yet there was a group of people enjoying loud music upto around 12/1am on the Saturday night which we found hard to get our kids to sleep.

Cost. Site layout. Easy/relaxed feel. River for kids.

Despite the relaxed pitch up where you want vibe, the site was in the main quiet with lots of families and groups.
4 toilets and a dishwasher area, plenty of loo roll! Wood available to purchase and lots of bonfires.
Staff on hand to help, even people having parties were respectful and noise was a minimum.
The river is so clear and my little one and dog loved it.

Hard to get a spot close to the river, the grass could be cut a bit to help finding a level pitch, but it is rough and ready back to nature.
I would prefer an area for groups separate from individual plots as despite going to the 'quiet' area as directed by staff, we returned a car park next to our tent and a group of 10 tents having a birthday celebration. This felt quite intimidating as I was there alone with my child.

Beautiful campsite, well looked after and the river was such a plus for making family memories! Toilets were clean and well stocked with with toilet roll - walk over the farmers fields back of campsite gave fab views too! We will be back….
