Weve stayed at all times and its never too conjested, always have a big area to ourselves and pretty much always get to choose the spot. Absolutely great on Sunny days with the river for a cooldown, evenings have always been pretty tranquil with firepit going, had the odd neighbour playing music but its never been excessive or impeded on any of our trips.
Toilets facilities always clean and stocked up.
Some nice walks to be had in the area
No wifi - love it …. Keeps the family off their devices
Weve recommended Avon to several friends who have also loved it.N'a pas aimé : Could benefit from some sort of eco shower or two maybe something similar… especially if your there for quite a few consecutive nights, there is always the river when the weathers nice but it is UK and that sun doesnt stay out long.
Also optional bin disposal even if small surcharge required, i agree with taking it home but if your camping for several days those bags mount up especially if your a family or big group.
