Ash Keys Caravan Park: A Hidden Gem for Peaceful Getaways. We spent a blissful, long weekend at Ash Keys Caravan Park, and it’s safe to say this tranquil spot has earned a permanent place on our campervan map. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, it offers the perfect blend of simplicity, serenity, and thoughtful touches that make a stay feel special.
Pitch-Perfect for Campervans and Caravans. Spacious, level pitches with easy access made parking the van a breeze, even with two Labradors eager to explore. The site layout is well-considered, offering privacy without feeling isolated, and there’s ample room for awnings, outdoor seating, or a game or two. If you’re feeling a need to embrace nature you’ll adore the bunnies around the site.
Facilities That Hit the Mark. Basic and clean shower block and toilets were a welcome surprise, spotless and well-stocked. The pot washing-up area was equally well-equipped, and everything was clearly maintained with care by Indi.
Nature, Calm, and Canine Joy. Our Labs gave the site two paws up. The surrounding walks were ideal for morning sniffs and evening strolls, with plenty of green space and safe paths. Birdsong and rustling trees created a peaceful soundtrack, and the lack of road noise made it feel like a true escape. They particularly enjoyed the dedicated dog park for off lead fun.
Simple Pleasures, Big Smiles. While the site doesn’t boast flashy entertainment, that’s part of its charm. It’s a place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the little things, whether that’s bbq dinner, a board game under the awning, or a quiet cuppa watching the sunset.
Location Perks. Close enough to local villages for supplies or a pub lunch, yet far enough to feel off-grid. It’s a great base for exploring the region or just staying put and soaking up the calm. If you’re after a no-fuss, dog-friendly retreat with genuine warmth and countryside charm, Ash Keys Caravan Park delivers in spades. We’ll definitely be back, very soon.
