Everything about this site was perfect. Electric and water hook ups. Tv aerials, nice flat pitch to set up on and hard standing. Toilets were clean. All good.

Another amazing stay at Ash Keys. Every time we come, we enjoy the peace and quiet, it is immaculately clean (even in the dog walk area) and our "happy place". The clear starry skies are a bonus, and there was even a barn owl flying over the site, which amazed our children. They also love the central grassed area so we could keep a close eye on them but allowing them some independence. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back soon!!

Toilet, washing & info cabins very conveniently located at the middle of the site. Fantastic location handy for many local attractions, lovely walks nearby, very good dog exercising area. Water, electricity & grey waster disposal on all pitches, which are generously sized.

The site has obviously recently had a new surface put down on all the paths & pitches, which is a sort of crushed shale & gets carried through into the camper all the time. It is also very poorly drained so gets puddles of grey mud which spreads around. This may improve as time passes and the surface settles. As TV reception at the site is very poor they have installed domestic type aerials on poles & a lengthy aerial cable on each pitch, but the reception is still so poor as to be unwatchable. It's about 159 metres from the pitches to the main shower/toilet facilities and as the site is unlit (dark skies = good, but not great when you're on a muddy path in pitch darkness!)

Loved the laminated maps that you can borrow for various walks around the site.

This is only due to the cold weather when we were there, but it’s a bit of a hike to the shower block and didn’t fancy walking back in the cold.

Everything! Huge pitches with own water and grey waste disposal, plus tv aerial but I don’t use that. Level pitches with lovely views. WiFi plenty good enough for checking emails and social media. Quirky but perfectly clean toilets. Great dog run field and poo bins in different places. Spotless pot wash hut. Lovely hut for signing in on arrival, with laminated guides provided for various walks in the area, and books and dvds to borrow. Loads of space for kids to play without disturbing those wanting to relax. Booking was easy. Massively detailed information pack sent with the welcome email and Indi, the owner, responded quickly when I emailed her a question. Weather wasn’t brilliant (only to be expected in a February!) but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return in the summer.
