Motorhomes and Caravans only. Really good value. Small level, well kept, quiet site bordered by trees, hedges and high fence. Lots of bird life to watch. Close to the Anvil pub but far away enough not to feel overlooked / on show. The proprietors and other workers were lovely and helpful. Actually liked the system for the electric hook up, with each pitch having hook up available, you buy a pre loaded card from the pub and at the end of the stay the meter is read and the card deposit cost and any cost of unused electricity is refunded. WiFi worked but not always that strong (good for basic reading emails etc), not a problem for us as we used our phones as mobile hot spots when we had to. Really good to have a pub so close! Handy base for exploring North Norfolk. Note the pub is closed on Mondays, so if arriving / leaving on a Monday, you would need to contact them in advance to arrange booking in, returning the electricity card etc. Also at any time (especially Sunday lunch) book a table for food in advance if that's to be an important part of your stay.

Not much to dislike. But if you have children with you, there would not be room for bicycles, ball games etc unless there were, at most, only a couple of other units on the site.

Small clean site. It offers electric hook up and grey/black waste along with fresh water. The Anvill offers a good menu at reasonable prices. Congham is a beautiful little village and has various walks my near by. We had a wonderful time. Not far from the coast and only 10 minutes away from Sandringham.

It’s a dog friendly site but! Dogs are not allowed in the pub, which is annoying.

This is a superb caravan which is based in a small field behind the pub itself, very clean with really good space throughout and plentiful sitting space in the main living area. Double bedroom on one end and 2 further bedroom at the other. The double has an ensuite and there is a further shower, sink, toilet at the other end. This was a 1 night stop over for us on our way for a week cruising the Norfolk Broads so it was in a perfect location. The pub itself we would have liked to have tried based on positive reviews we had already seen but unfortunately it is closed all day on a Monday, however, this certainly would not put us off staying here again, in fact we were going to book it for another night in September when we are down on the broads again but it was booked up.

A mention to the owner who very kindly called me just to advise that due to the fact were arriving on a Monday and would be unable to collect the keys from the pub, he gave us advise were the keys would be, a very polite gentleman!

The clean caravan the welcome from the staff on arrival and the extra miles they went to help and accommodate us when our car would not start.

Absolutely perfect location for an overnight stay

Easy check in no pressure just set yourself up and your choice if you want electric.
The food at the Anvil was first class with large portion sizes.
I would however say if you are going to eat at the pub book upon arrival as you may not get a table.
The site is nice & nice dog walks close by.

There are no exterior toilet or shower facilities
Toilet inside the pub is only open during opening hours.

We will definitely be returning
