Absolutely lovely! They have a play area for kids, a shed where you could borrow dvds, toys, books, etc. the kids loved that! And the site was lovely and safe and quiet

Only one shower in use on the site

Electricity and heating in pod, cheap price per night and had the campsite to ourselves. Friendly owners, great relaxing views and mamy red kites flying overhead.

Bathroom facilities could use a facelift.

Location was stunning, red kites just wow!
Nice small site. Loved the dog run area.
Park for younger children and even a little caravan kitted out with children’s tea sets and toys- lovely touch.

Toilet/shower block very dated. We planned the stay so we could see red kites being fed, but the owner changed the day because someone else had requested it on another day so we missed out, despite trying to phone and missing out on other things on route to get there in time. Disappointed children!

A beautiful, hidden gem of a site, tucked far enough away in the countryside to feel immersed in nature, whilst still being easily accessible by road. If you're driving a camper or towing a caravan, you won't struggle. You can get here via main roads and shouldn't struggle on the access road unless you're particularly wide (although make sure that Google/sat nav doesn't try and give you a "short cut" over a local mountain via back roads).

Watching the red kites circle overhead was absolutely stunning, and the people-friendly sheep in the neighbouring field are a lot of fun. The couple who run the site are kind, warm, welcoming, accommodating, and very hospitable - they made us feel more like friends than customers, whilst still leaving us to do our own thing. Another area in which they've struck a great balance is "site size vs accommodation range", offering a wide range of accommodation, and giving everyone plenty of space, whilst not letting the site get too big and lose it's "homely" feel.

Facilities are well kept, clean, and plentiful for the site size. We will definitely be back and we've already recommended the site to others. Thank you for a lovely stay x
