Short walk to one pub (on a larger camp site) & slightly longer walk to a fabulous pub with amazing food.No me gustó: Noisy campers but they were dealt with swiftly by the owners.

No me gustó: We was not keen on the chippy van, the chips was not proper chippy chips, more like frozen chips cooked in deep fat fryer, however not a reflection of the campsite as it is a separate company but personally would not recommend the chippy van.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Willow Valley's helpful and friendly owner runs a nice campsite with very good amenities (wetsuit-cleaning station, dog-cleaning station, washers/dryer, local information, etc.), spacious pitches and clean toilets/showers - not to mention easy access to Bude and other local attractions.
No me gustó: The tent pitches overlook a small playground (ideal for kids, maybe less so for people looking for peace and quiet) and are close to the main A-road, so passing traffic can be heard in the distance. Most of the glamping pods are higher up on the hill behind the main facilities in their own little fields, which seemed ideal.
Overall, as campers (not glampers) we felt Willow Valley had more a well-tended "park" feel to it than "camping in nature", but still a very enjoyable campsite.

Travelling with a 3 year old who only likes baths not showers is rather challenging but the family showers with a child size one next to the adult one was genius and my 3 year old finally enjoyed a shower. This site has everything you can think of and I made good use of the wetsuit wash area and laundry which were added bonus'

No me gustó: The pitch we had was a bit muddy from the previous campers. Our pitch was by the play area and the main driveway. Wasn’t a problem really but if we stayed longer it might not have been ideal.

The staff are easy to talk to and understanding and help out as much as possible to make your stay even more amazing. The wash area and bathrooms were good and clean perfect for everyday use.

Your observations about the tent pitches and proximity to the playground and A-road are really valuable — we know these aspects can be a plus for some guests and less so for others, and your feedback helps future visitors choose the best spot for their needs.
We appreciate your note about the “park” feel of Willow Valley. We aim to keep the site well cared for while still offering a relaxing outdoor experience, and it’s lovely to hear that you still found it very enjoyable overall.
