No me gustó: Not advertised on main website or pitch up but Fishing is paid for and not easy to access with steps to the river bank being worn away.
The site has rules in place including no cycling or scooting around the park except to the play park, these rules where not being enforced as children of all ages riding all over people's pitches, in to cars and in to my two year old daughter.Groups of people playing next to the river making loud noises till early hours in the morning.
Groups of people sitting outside with music and chatting till early hours in the morning.
The pub advertised on the sites main website is closed and reported by locals has been closed for a few years.
Overall it was a let down that rules where not being enforced and wardens just don't want to upset anyone by enforcing rules, people just doing what ever they like with no consideration of others using the site.
Thank you for leaving your review, we are very disappointed with the comments. You have helpfully put on pictures of the information supplied in your welcome pack. This pack has local information for you and includes information about fishing and prices. The access to the river has handrails to assist getting down to the river, we have been busy this week starting , digging out and repairing the access but this is a work in progress because of the different levels of the river causing previous work to erode. We are pleased to say as part of the David Bellamy pledge, we are restoring the local Eco system at the Riverbank. Your picture shows the information on children cycling and we also have signs up, it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their children are safe and following the instructions. We allow the children to ride slowly to the play area and this weekend weather permitting we are hoping to open our new bike riding area for the children to use.
We ask our guest to be quiet after 10am and to be considerate of other people if sitting outside enjoying their evening. If you had come to reception with concerns about noise issues late at night while you were here, we would have monitored this and spoken to other guest if we felt this was a problem
Sadly the local pubs have closed and reopened a few times, we will have this removed from our Webpage thank you for pointing this out to us , we have been so busy that we had overlooked this .
All our guest are here to enjoy their holiday in their own way, it is important to us that everybody has a good a time . We are sorry it wasn’t for you .

We only used a pit stop to a longer destination but will return again for longer . Close to towns of Ludlow Leominster and Tenbury Wells . Lots of good relevant information on places of interest .

Great playground for children.No me gustó: The site is divided by high hedges, whilst they give a lovely sense of privacy the downside is that you can’t see the playground from your pitch or see where children are playing.
Children are not permitted to cycle around the site - assume this is a safety issue due to the high hedges but this is a top rated activity for my little one so it caused some disappointment.
As motor-homers we like to be able to walk/cycle to amenities. This site was rather remote and you really need to drive to get to shops/pub etc. It was fine for our 1 night stop over but wouldn’t stay again in a motorhome.
Thank you , We understand the children like to ride their bikes, we are opening our new bike riding area .

Kids loved the park and football pitch and the owners put a few extra games out on the grass too. Pitches very good size and we had a big air tent. Easy to find. Right near a Greg's and Starbucks, and Sainsbury's only 10 minutes away. We visited the local leisure centre which had a slide and Monkey Mania soft play. I'm sure there is lots of other things.

Would definitely returnNo me gustó: Internet is none existent on site, especially as the tent pitches are so far away from the hub. With signal also being poor you can't watch anything on an evening so deffo would recommend doing some smart downloads on Netflix beforehand!
Tent pitches are about a 5 minute walk from the toilets/washing up facilities ect, would be nice to have had a closer block especially with younger children.
Pub is closed so don't try and do the walk to the left along the river you will be disappointed 😅
More toilets and showers needed for capacity and only 2 sinks for washing dishes.
Thank you , We have free WIFI but we are a rural location so it can be intermittent, we ask guest not to stream . There are routers at various points at the park which take the signal around, we like your good advice about downloading before hand. The ladies and gents have 3 showers and four privacy wash basin with 3 loos in the gents and 4 in the ladies , we also have the family /less abled roon with shower wash basin and toilet and baby changing . The washig up /laundry room has 3 sinks and a washing machine a dryer and ironing facilites .

No me gustó: Bad internet and phone signal. There is a guest WIFI they do explain it’s not for streaming. It’s the general area not just the campsite so not their failing. In fact we relaxed even more instead of being on our phones all the time 😁
