    Del gerente...
Again, no bar, no nightclubs, no swimming pool, no children, no games room and yes no showers. You knew all this before you booked, Its plastered all over the internet and on our old p-up advert. | |||||

, Disappointing but I guess this is what is to be expected with post-holiday blues and a chance to win £500 for slating someone’s business. You originally booked for 2 nights with P-up at our park after reading the advert noting it says over 60+ times that we only have toilets and not showers. Thought out your stay you commented many times on how nice and well-kept park was. You were scheduled to leave after 2 nights, You said that you loved the park and the area that much and asked would we be able to book you in for a 3rd night’s stay. So we did, to do this we moved bookings around to accommodate you and also reduced the cost of the additional night as we now do not take booking via P-up. Then, the following day you again requested a 4th night’s stay, so again we moved people around and reduced the cost to accommodate you. With you stating that our park facilities are so, so bad I don’t understand why you rebooked twice on the run, in fact you turned your 2 night stay into a 4 night stay and even asked to stay for the additional weekend but unfortunately we could not accommodate you.
The way the world is nowadays we have to have CCTV and a means of stopping caravans being stolen for insurance purposes, hence the triple locked high level security barrier. We put this in place to keep peoples belongings safe like your caravan was for its stay and to stop access to the wrong types of people. As you are aware the barrier only needs to be opened for caravans as cars will freely go underneath without it having to be opened. We obviously don’t hand out keys to the barrier, as what would be the point in having it.
Our work phone is never off, regarding the security barrier you stated in your review “Awaiting the arrival of our 1st grandchild and if that happened in the early hours we wouldn’t be able to leave”. Suggesting that we could have somehow jeopardised you missing the birth and thus implying that it would have been our fault if you would have missed it, this is totally wrong of you!. If it was such a worry for you, then, it would have been a better idea not to book an extra 2 nights stay, in fact I don’t understand why you even went on holiday in the first place as it was obviously so important to you that you didn’t miss out especially going to a campsite that is 7 and a half hours away from your home.
I’m no expect, but I’m guessing that it would have taken you a good 2+ hours to pack up and take down your awning then drive at 60mph all the way home. It’s also fortunate that your 1st grandchild wasn’t born while you were sipping Pimms in one of the local pubs in the village. If I needed to get somewhere as important as you state in you review, I would have left the caravan, jumped in the car and got home 3-4 hours earlier and dealt the caravan after my 1st grand child had been born not somehow blame and twist it around to be the park owners fault if you miss it when you had opportunity after opportunity leave but chose not to.
I have checked the CCTV on the gate and you actually waited 6 minutes 34 seconds that morning for the security barrier to be opened.
Hope you enjoy your first grandchild.
