Lovely location in Craig-Y-Don, at the far end of Llandudno. The views from the pitches are spectacular, especially when sitting out at night. Close enough to shops, restaurants, about a 5 minute drive/25 minute walk to the town centre.

Hosts are friendly but also leave you to it, so you don’t feel encroached upon, there for any enquires etc.

Not loads in the way of facilities, bins provided and occasionally a toilet but this isn’t guaranteed, also electric hookup for an additional charge which was really reliable, but we knew about there being minimal facilities upon booking, so not an issue at all.

Area surrounding was pretty clean and well maintained, bins provided.

We took our 22 month old with us, we had a playpen for her whilst we did things, but there was some space for her explore, you just have to be mindful that cars/bikes/motor homes could arrive at any time, we wouldn’t leave her unsupervised, there’s also a steep hill beyond the pitches. It is possible with young children but you need to bear these things in mind when booking and prepare. Lovely natural environment around though and local park too which was great!

Overall, a really lovely place to stay, will be back again! 👍🏻

The views were fantastic. A short walk in to the centre and onto the promenade which was a bonus.

Price. Thought it was a little expensive just to park on someone’s driveway with no toilets or shower but I was only there one night anyway.

Very enjoyable and straightforward stay of 3 nights, very helpful and friendly owners.

Loved this site. Although a simple driveway pitch the views are fantastic over Llandudno and with a back drop off the great orme for the sun to set on top off this site is brilliant and so reasonably priced. Paul, the main man is easily approachable and has a brilliant knowledge off the area and thank fully helped me with a small fix on my van. Will deffo return. 😃

We walked into town multiple times it’s around 1.3 miles into the bars and restaurants only a few are nearby. Only around £6 into town and back which we didn’t realise till last return to the site from town. Not a problem tho

Loved the views and peacefulness of the site. We didn't walk into Llandudno, due to my hubbies knee injury. We used the local taxi service (which offered an excellent service). We got the taxi right into the town centre, which cost us £6. We drove out next day to Conwy castle and Bay and stopper off at Rhos on sea. We will definitely be returning to this site and hopefully there will be toilet and shower facilities.

The view is amazing (mainly due to the height you are up so it might not suit someone with mobility issues). Its a lovely walk into town with the option of catching a number 12 bus back from town. It drops you at the bottom of Carmen Sylva Rd - a 5 min walk partly up hill to the site. There aren't any toilet facilities. Longer motorhomes might feel it a bit of a tight squeeze as basically you are parking on someones driveway directly in front of their house. Having said all that - would we use the site again and the answer is a resounding yes please we loved it.

As long as you are aware of the above points and they don't worry you there is little to dislike about the site.

A Wifi option would have been nice bonus.

We had a wonderful 2 nights here overlooking Llandudno. The host was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
