Great little site right on the edge of Sutton Hoo with very welcoming owners. All touring pitches are serviced and fairly level and they are a generous size separated by little hedges with a great dog walk field adjacent. We stayed with other friends and it was great.

Third year of coming for weekend to watch Theatre in Forest production. Like everything especially firepits, place to charge phones, layout, big skies, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, proximity to Woodbridge and local amenities

Single mum, teenage daughter and dog. The site was lovely, the toilet and shower block was very clean and the facilities for washing up and freezer was great.

The pitches were secluded and flat, it was really lovely to have screened off sections and it was a small site with I think 20 pitches. There was a playground area, dog walking area. It was perfect.

Walking distance to Sutton Hoo and some beautiful walks. The ideal place to explore this area .

Really good spaces, had a corner plot which was massive but all the slots were a good size, toilet block was well equipped and even had a bath in one area for younger children or anyone that needed it.
Use of the shared communal fridge freezers was a great addition especially as it was really hot when we were there. Play area in the middle of the site was just big enough and children could be watched easily from all pitched. Am planning our next visit already.

Only area for improvement would be if there was a map / details of local supermarket or stores as no way of buying essentials on site

Road noise

A gem of a campsite, made to feel very welcome and it was very clean. Not many pitches about 20.but most have electric.if you visiting the sutton hoo main site then this campsite is only minutes away to walk. Had a great time and will definitely be going back.loved it.

We had a fabulous two week stay. The site was clean, facilities freshened up early every morning. The owners stopped by each pitch regularly to check we were happy or needed anything. All other campers were court with noise levels in the evenings, we were never kept awake by noisy neighbours. We really enjoyed having the central play park as we felt safe letting our 3yo go and make new friends while still being on hand if he needed reassurance. He had a great time too, and didn't want to leave. Having Sutton Hoo only a five minute walk away was also brilliant, along with a beautiful river walk just at the bottom of the hill in Melton. Overall a lovely site, close to so many places to explore. We also enjoyed hearing a couple of different types on owls in the trees above our tent, watched stunning sunsets across the fields and gazed at endless stars once dark.

The only thing we found tricky was the proximity to a busy road, which kept us awake for much of the first night. However, we quickly got used to it and it never caused our son any issues getting to sleep.

Great location. Great pitch size plenty of room & not all crammed in closely.
