Beautiful, quiet, well maintained pitch.

Fantastic location for visiting Sutton Hoo and Woodbridge both of which should not be missed. Make sure you take the guided walk around the burial mounds and in Woodbridge don’t miss the boat reconstruction and The Woodyard pizzas next door. All in all a great stay owners very friendly facilities very good. We actually booked an extra day.

Wi-fi is weak. Nothing to do with the site but whilst the bus will take you into Woodbridge the most convenient time to come back mid afternoon only operates in school holidays. We got bus to Melton then had to walk the remaining but that worked ok

The facilities are excellent very clean and tidy , bath in the disabled room is an inspiration.
Location is perfect for Woodbridge ,Sutton hoo n.t. and a bus stop right outside for Ipswich via all the villages £3 per ride or a short walk further down for more direct buses.
Beautiful area for walking and cycling (rd can be quite busy) but there is a path.
Helen the owner does a walk round daily to check on her visitors which is lovely.
Check in was so easy just pull in to site and read the white board for your pitch no. And off u go no messing .
Pitches are very large and secluded with hedges we had a brilliant time and didn't want to leave lots of things to do and places to see ,we will definitely be back excellent value for a serviced pitch

Having to leave

A great site for access to Sutton Hoo, obviously! Pitches are really big and are fully serviced. It was busy but not noisy and very restful.

The facilities are fairly basic. 2 loos and 2 showers for the ladies. A rather grim bucket half full of murky brown water and a mop that had seen better days was left for you to clean your shower out but it didn’t look as though anyone had felt it would have left the shower cleaner.
There was wi fi in theory but certainly on pitch 8 it was easier to use 4G.

Water available at each pitch, shrubs planted either side for added privacy. Little play area in the middle for children.

Showers were ok. Not the most well maintained looking

The pitches were great with shrubs dividing. Quite private but we had enjoyable contact with other campers. Facilities were clean and suitable.

Nothing. We booked an extra night's stay.

Everything about the campsite is lovely, the shower block is the cleanest I've ever seen on a campsite, the pitches are very spacious and nicely separated from each other, there's a park in the middle of the site which my boy was very happy with, you can hire a firepit with logs to use which we didn't make use of this time but definitely will next time we go. This is by far one of my favourite sites I've ever stayed at.

All pitches are level grass. EHU, water & grey waste available at pitch. They are separated by bushes for privacy.
Very clean toilets & showers & chemical waste disposal available.
Huge dog walking field & slackline for children.

WiFi was very weak.
