My family and I stayed in our campervan, next door to my sister and family in one of the safari tents. The weather was glorious (unforecast!), and in advance the owner had kindly offered to move our dates in case we got stuck in the mud. Very glad we decided to come anyway! The cafe is great, very handy; the loos very clean and well stocked with everything from suncream to shampoo. Lovely walk into the village, with its excellent pub and brook for paddling.
No me gustó: No staff on site outside of cafe opening meant we ran out of loo roll in the ladies on Sunday morning. But I always bring some so it was only a small inconvenience.
We were all thrilled to read your lovely review and we appreciate the time you have taken to write this. In common with other campsites, and in our arrival details, we always ask guests to bring loo rolls as ours disappear very quickly. We also sell them on site above the Camper's fridges in a box marked "loo rolls" and there's an honesty box for payment - there were plenty there as I checked this morning (Tuesday). We top up loo rolls regularly but over the weekend it all seemed to go very quickly! I think some did go walking! I apologise for any inconvenience.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: This place is absolutely magical!! First time camping with littlies and opted for the safari tent. What an experience! The tent was beautifully laid out with all the home comforts. We spent most of our time on the huge decking area and field, the kids absolutely loved it.
Bathrooms were lovely, super clean and brilliantly decorated (who doesn't love bird wallpaper?!).
We didn't realise there was a cafe on site, an absolute god send in the mornings. A bacon sandwich, sat out in the sunshine was heaven.
The village is so picture postcard, it's gorgeous. A play park for toddlers is a five minute walk away and had everything they loved. Then just a little further and there was a ford where we took the kids paddling.
Honesty cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much.

Oh my! What a wonderful review, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and your littlies and can't wait for you to visit again. We were absolutely delighted to read your review, we are a tiny site and like to keep things "home from home", myself and our young staff and kitchen team go out of their way to make the experience lovely for everyone and we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us, we can't wait to see you again!
