No me gustó: Wasn’t anywhere close by to let the dogs have a run around off lead. We had paid extra for the dogs.
The showers were 50p per 5 minutes when we had already paid £5 per day for electric. The showers were a trickle at best.

Traducir (A través del Traductor Google)Me gustó: Lovely campsite and facilities. I was expecting to use my awning and initially they wanted to put me on tarmac. However, they did find me a space which suited me and the dogs just fine.
No me gustó: I was very frustrated at the constant dogs yapping from a caravan a few doors down on Sunday afternoon. It was a very hot day and I was concerned for the dogs welfare so raised this with the campsite owner. Also, they had a policy in place that no dogs were to be left unattended. Apparently, due to the owners being regular visitors they were allowed to leave the dogs on their own; no real thought about the rest of the visitors who had to put up with the constant howling and yapping! The campsite owner said they would phone the dogs owner to ensure a fan had been left on for the dogs.
Not quite the peaceful Sunday I desperately wanted as the howling/yapping was upsetting my two also.

Holidaying with family and children with ASD and disabilities, it was wonderful to find a site where they could safely play with other children with no judgement from kids or adults as to disabilities. Also the kids loved experiencing the river and wild swimming.
Pitches were a good size and the management was friendly and informative about the local areas.No me gustó: Paying for showers (50p for 5 mins) on top of pitch fee and electric fee.

We are glad you liked our “lovely campsite and facilities”.
You booked a hardstanding pitch over the Bank Holiday weekend. When we showed you to your hardstanding pitch, you asked if you could put in pegs and put up your awning on the hardstanding pitch, and we said you could. But then you said you wanted a grass area for your two dogs. You said you had booked the wrong type of pitch and commented that, “I’m new to this. I should have gone for a grass pitch”. We always do our best to help guests even when we are very busy. Therefore, although we were fully booked for the weekend and you had not told us in advance that you wanted a grass area, we managed to accommodate you so you could have a grass pitch that you wanted. We’re pleased this suited you and your dogs.
The 2 Dachshunds in a seasonal caravan were in the caravan with a fan on while their owners went out nearby. When you told us of your concerns, I followed this up immediately by phoning the owners. Dachshunds are known to have a low tolerance of heat, and the owners quite correctly judged it was safer for the dogs to be in a cool caravan rather than outside in a temperature of over 25 degrees. We have two dogs ourselves and take the utmost care over animal welfare. No-one else (on a full site) made any comment about yapping dogs. I, my wife, and three other family members were on site throughout Sunday and were unaware of what you describe as “constant howling and yapping”, so we do not recognise the description of events that you have given.
