Great owners who are improving the site .put up the site fees so you don’t have to find 50p to have a shower . Great location carry on the great work 👍

Large groups of noisy young people who blast their music out until 10.00

Excellent spot for exploring the Bannau’s and surrounding countryside. The pod (Poppy) was the best we’ve stayed in and the campsite itself was clean and peaceful.

Quiet, peaceful relaxed site in the middle of nowhere with a river running along one edge

Great clean facilities, helpful owner /staff, good sized level pitches

Access to stunning Welsh countryside for cycling (you need strong legs). I did a PB for the most climbing on any single ride ! If less strong I suggest drive to Builth Wells & ride from there.

Relatively dark skies. I snapped the cocoon nebula.

Light spill from toilet block & elsewhere across the site.

A little more thought put into the the lighting to prevent it spilling upwards and everywhere would go a long way to preserving the dark skies & would help any local wildlife & humans wanting sleep.

Clean, great space, cozy cabin, polite and friendly hosts, great area.
Safe and great to play on the green without cars keep driving in and out.

Can paddle and swim in river on site and nearby wash pools.

None it was fabulous

Really lovely family run site with clean facilities! This is our second stay here and we'll be back next year.
