Small site in the town. Pitches roomy and flat, good facilities and clean. Walking distance to town centre with pubs, shops and cafes as well as zip world. Good phone and tv reception.
Good walks nearby and quite central for Eryri/Snowdonia.
Make sure to approach via Glan y Pwll Rd and not by turning directly onto Baltic Rd.

Nothing to dislike about site, perhaps slightly awkward approach with large caravan or motorhome but ok.
Takeaways in town but didn't find anywhere for a meal out nearby but possibly I missed one.

Great location, everything you need only 10 minutes away if you forget anything. very clean and peaceful site and Janet was always there in case you needed help with anything.

Beautiful camp site with a warm welcome. Great communication and understanding of our situation when we were running a little late. Facilities are clean and tidy. Pitch was well maintained and a good size. Would stay again.

No WiFi

This is an awesome site just off the main road. Janet and John are great hosts as they guide you into your allotted pitch for your stay; and after a long drive, it's a nice touch. The shower/toilet block is first class with washing up facilities too. They had issues with the hot water when we stayed, but they had someone out to fix it within 24hrs, which was great. The pitches are level and on a bed of slate chippings, with electric hookup and water. Disposal facilities are great!

Definitely go again when we're next in the area.

We thought site more suited to motor homes, too tight for our caravan with bikes on back,

Beautiful, clean campsite, very quiet.The showers hot and powerful. It's not far from the steam train station. A little town few minutes further down with a wonderful chip shop. If you google a local town about a twenty minute drive away, there is some atmosphere with outside bars and restaurants open until eight pm in a larger town near by.

It was a pretty site and kept beautifully clean. The facilities were good and the owners very helpful and friendly.
Co-op in the town was good for shopping and there were good transport links to other towns. We especially liked the steam train to Port Madock.

Lovely site. Clean and well kept. Family run and very friendly, helpful owners. Walking distance to Ffestiniog railway and town centre. Dog friendly site. Level pitches with plenty of room.

Town centre is a little lacking in shops etc ( but if you have a car then this is a great base)

Cleanliness and quietness of site

Everything, close to the town, railway and adventure park. The quarry was fascinating, to see all the old, abandoned buildings atop the slate mounds and it was so peaceful and quiet. The whole site is well kept and spotless facilities.

Purely a recommendation, to put a small door on the shower cubicle as the water sprays outside the shower tray.
