Approach and exit route is tight and steep, also be aware of low level slate plant troughs when manoeuvring with a caravan

Close to town, felt safe, friendly and welcoming, loads of doggy walks, all areas nice and clean, small site.

Very clean overall. The toilets and showers very well maintained, warm shower block with hairdryer. Pitch size ok, EHU and water available. Lots of information given at the park for local businesses such as taxi, takeaways, pubs and medical. No WiFi but good phone signal. Overall good stay!

What a lovely, well cared for site . Loved those extra little touches, comprehensive list of places to visit, soap, bags in shower block which was very clean .

Such a lovely peaceful site. Views of the quarry were fantastic. Facilities were spotless and accessible as were the pitches. Close enough to walk into town and catch the ffestiniog train. Janet was friendly and helpful even helped us out with a loan of an electric hook up cable. We stayed an extra night as many others seem to have done. It was all the little details that made it extra special, disposable gloves at waste point. Menus for local food delivery. Lots of activity information. Thank you Janet we'll see you again.

Our host Janet was very friendly and knowledgable. Site was within walking distance to Zipline, Blaenau Ffestiniog and to lovely walks. Amenities were warm clean and provided for all our needs. We would recommend
Mend and would definetely stay here again

Park was fantastic, from the facilities to the views to the recycling center. most pitches have grass areas for the dogs to wander and wind breaks from the Welsh weather :) will definitely use again.

Lovely site, spacious level pitch for my caravan and van, spotless and up to date toilet block and very warm welcome. Good G4 and TV/Radio reception suitable for usual channels.
Also quiet site and short walk into town. Superb walks in the hills and if yomping is not your thing then Zip World and Steam Railway nearby with the Welsh coast not too far away to drive to.

Nothing to add really although no pitch price equivalent for a solo traveller. This however is typical of pretty much the majority as pitch prices are for two. This will not stop me from returning though.
