We walked to the Kings head for a drink which was lovely and also got Fish and Chips from Trish and chips which were cooked to order and lovely.

Friendly , clean, nice pitches , showers and everything you need. Quiet. A bit if a steep drive coming up we are 8 meters long and we manged it . Nice walk to village and we found a lovely round route dog walk. All in all brilliant site.

Not a dislike for us but our dog didn't like the gravel hurts his paws ( complete lurcher wimp so not campsites fault) but just incase anyone has a sensitive wimpy dog, take lots of treats to blackmail over gravel , like I said not campsite fault as it was very clean and kept in excellent condition.

Not alot if I'm honest

local area run down nothing really to see ok for somewhere just to pull in overnight and move on. We couldn't sit outside in the evening as the midges were horrendous maybe something to do with the slate mine.Booked 3 nights and couldn't wait to leave there is building work going on right next to the pitches with a JCB digging all day long, the site is really small and compact so no getting away from the noise even on a Sunday.

A Well kept site with clean facilities. All pitches are level and hardstanding. 10 minutes walk to the town and steam railway. The Owners are welcoming and friendly.

Could be difficult to access up steep narrow road for some units. Our campervan coped well

Fantastic quiet site. Facilities spotlessly clean. Everything well run and owners very friendly. They found my watch I had lost in the grounds and put it safe.

The owner Janet was very pleasant and helpful.
Great location for exploring the surrounding area, short walk into Bleanau for supplies!
Adult only a big plus!
