Friendly staff, quiet location and hot showers

Hill to grass pitches and distance for carrying camping gear from the car park downhill to the pitches could have been clearer on the website

Due to heavy rain the glamping tent was not water tight and wood burning stove did not work due to water ingress. Toilet and shower facilities were not well cleaned and were dated and access to them was down an uneven set of stairs that were muddy and slippery in the rain.

We really loved the bell tent. It had everything we needed & was cosy, we had a spectacular view over the reservoir & hills. Our 7 year old really enjoyed the play area & would love to do some of the activities when they're big enough!! The staff were all friendly & helpful👍🏻

The shower block & toilets were a bit gross. I understand it does outdoor activities but I still think they could be properly cleaned, & more regularly. When they mopped it just moved the dirt & grass around, & left foamy dirt around the edge & corners. Also, outside the block there was stray socks, pants, swimming stuff, rubbish etc. It was there our entire stay & had obviously been there a while. It just made the place look untidy & a bit grotty. Which was a shame.

The place it’s beautiful nice and comfy .it’s very clean . And the people it’s so friendly.

Wifi only outside the cafe so not in the yurt as advertised.
Lots of steps down from parking to yurts
Sloping ground for tents and riverside a long way to walk
Boys said the little z beds were very uncomfortable.
Bedding was very stained and not as clean as I would have liked

Cleanliness of shared facilities

Fantastic views and very helpful staff. Only a short drive from walking access to the Brecon Beacons. Hot showers and they are cleaned to use in an afternoon after a good walk. Pubs a short drive away.

Sanitary bins were overflowing on the first day we arrived. Understand it’s difficult but was horrible to use the toilets.
