The 20 minute walk to the pub through the woods with the dogs was lovely.

Everything fabulous, location great, lovely welcome. Perfect stop on our way to Plymouth for the ferry.

Fabulous location on the edge of Dartmoor, with very good walking opportunities and easy vehicle access to some great tourist spots. Welcome and interaction with the owners was first class and very friendly. The facilities block was always spotlessly clean and well provided. Pitches were spacious and flat. Would particularly recommend a visit to Canonteign Falls (10 mins drive) for stunning scenery and a lovely day out.

Very easy to find - just off the A38.
The site and facilities were immaculate - the flattest, best kept pitches I’ve ever seen and very generously sized. Plenty of toilets and showers (no queuing).
Will definitely come back - we had a very relaxing weekend with our dogs. The 20 minute walk to the pub through the woods was lovely.

Peaceful, adult only, friendly team, lovely clean facilities. Walking distance to a pub. Great location. We booked to come again before we even left!

The weather was fabulous for our stay which was a bonus but with beautifully mown grassed areas meaning no grass cuttings traipsed into the tent. Big plus! Spotlessly clean shower, washing and kitchen washing areas including a freezer for ice packs or even freshly caught fish! Our hosts Alan and Debbie were at hand for information or advice, so friendly. A secure site with a lovely woodland walk to the Claycutters Arms for a pint or food. Our pitch was running to the bank holiday weekend which was busy, but even with a good many people on site it was so peaceful. We will be back to explore more of the area, it’s a great base. Highly recommended, well done both.

We liked everything about this site. Excellent facilities. Level pitches. Friendly owners. Peaceful, always helped by a dry day to pack up.... nice and sunny.

Nicely sized adults only campsite friendly owners, clean and tidy shower block,good sized pitches

Very small point could do with a rubbish point a little more central to the camping area.shame about the weather our three pitches became water logged due to constant heavy rain, no fault of the owners
